The 1973-1974 school year saw high school classes held in three separate buildings: South Building (now Cline Elementary School), Magsig Building (now Magsig Middle School) and the newly built Centerville High School building nearly 1 mile east of Magsig on East Franklin St.
There were 533 graduates that fateful day in 1974 when commencements were held in the new gymnasium. If memory serves correctly, graduates were limited to two family members. Nowadays, commencements are held at the Wright State University Ervin J. Nutter Center.
It’s been 40 years since graduation — Time for a reunion!
